About Me
I started in the lab. Two graduate degrees in biomedical sciences gave me a foundation in rigorous research, data analysis, and the kind of patience you develop when experiments take months to run. My published work on microRNA networks and metabolic pathways taught me to find patterns in complex systems, a skill that transferred directly into software engineering.
The transition from bench to keyboard was deliberate. I saw an opportunity to build the tools I wished existed during my research years. That led me to full-stack development, where I now specialize in building production systems for the restaurant industry. From POS integrations and payroll automation to real-time financial dashboards, I build software that turns operational complexity into clarity.
More recently, I have been studying for the patent bar exam, bridging my technical background with intellectual property. The combination of deep technical knowledge and legal understanding positions me to work at the intersection of innovation and protection.
In 2026, I founded Zaffira LLC to bring these threads together: a restaurant technology company focused on operational intelligence. The goal is to give restaurant operators the same caliber of software tools that enterprise companies take for granted.
